IAC Application process

The much anticipated IAC “tier” application process in IACMS is finally in production. The main highlight is that potential IAC applicants are asked critical IAC applicability questions in the front end. If the applicants chose the wrong answers, IACMS will automatically reject the application providing a rejection response prior to having a PSI reviewing the app.

This provides PSIs review time for legitimate applications.

Note: Even if the current SIC code selected may not be preferred cargo SIC code, PSIs must ensure even though their current business model description may not be air cargo, the description provides a future intent ...

David Pekoske sworn in as 7th TSA Administrator

WASHINGTON – Today, David Pekoske was officially sworn in as the seventh administrator of the Transportation Security Administration. Department of Homeland Security Acting Secretary Elaine Duke welcomed Administrator Pekoske, who took the oath in a ceremony held at Department of Homeland Security Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Pekoske was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on Aug. 3, 2017, following his nomination by President Donald J. Trump.
