Customs Bulletin 19-17 Shipments of Live Animals at MIA CCC

The purpose of this information bulletin is to notify the importing Trade community of a change in the service hours during which U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will process entry shipments of live-animals at the Miami International Airport Cargo Clearance Center (CCC).

Due to the on-going concerns for public health, as well as the health of the live animals, these shipments must be reviewed in close coordination with USDA Centers for Disease Control (CDC) personnel. Therefore, it is imperative that entry processing for these shipments occurs when CDC and CBP personnel are jointly available.
