FCBF Opens it's Membership to International Companies

For the first time in 60 years the Florida Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association will open it's membership to include international companies. The Board of Directors recently voted on this decision as FCBF moves towards creating a stronger relationship with our Latin American colleagues. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) currently exists with the Federation of National Associations of Freight Forwarders and International Logistics Operators of Latin America and the Caribbean (ALACAT) and the Caribbean Shipping Association (CSA). Florida is situated at the gateway of The Americas and it is only appropriate to bring our partners closer to home and help facilitate the flow of information. This will also benefit current members by gaining highly educated and engaged agents overseas. FCBF hopes to gain members from other parts of the hemisphere as well. She is the International Auditor of the SGCS BASC and the Internal Auditor of the Authorized Economic Operator (OAS) Standard. Trainer, Lecturer and Facilitator with more than 25 years of professional experience.
