Export Hours: 8:00am – 3:30pm, Monday-Friday (Exportations submitted after 3:30 pm, on Weekends, or on Holidays will not be processed until the next business day)

Please read through entire information packet, it should answer many of the questions that you have. If you still have questions, feel free to e-mail us with your question(s) and we will be happy to help you.

Required Documents

These Documents must be on file in DIS and a conformation e-mail sent to our office 72 hrs. prior to export!!!

1. Automated Export System (AES) Filling.

2. Certificate of Title / Certificate of Ownership for all self-propelled vehicles including heavy machinery. This includes salvage title, rebuilt title, or flood title, or Bill of sale or Invoice/Certificate of Origin/Certificate of Destruction, should have the original Bill of Sale signed by the buyer and seller and must be notarized; should also indicate the VIN or SN. If the vehicle was a gift, a gift letter can be substituted for Bill of Sale. If you are the titled owner of the vehicle, a bill of sale is not required. An affidavit in lieu of the Certificate of Title is NOT sufficient for export.

3. Original Dock Receipt or Terminal Instrument Report (TIR)

Your submitted documents have been received and are approved UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTIFIED by U.S. Customs & Border Protection.
Please Note: The vehicle must remain in the United States for the mandatory 72 hour waiting period and you must have completed the export process (19 CFR 192.2). If it is discovered that the vehicle was exported prior to completing the export process, the exporter is subject to penalty and monetary fines, as well as seizure of the vehicle.

Many truckers and industry insiders thought that a federal rule enacted late last year that requires truckers to use electronic logging devices to track driving time would disrupt freight and logistics. It hasn’t happened.
